I was reading a recent question by a Christian regarding God and His existance.....someone stated they would rather go to Hell than worship the God of the Bible......Why would anyone want to go to Hell???....I ask because that makes no sense to me.

I have to be honest, I dont remember where the question is now. I'm sure that my information is correct about the Christian however, how can you claim Christianity and going to hell. That can't be.

Is there a HELL....o yes. But if you doubt, just know that Satans wants you to believe that. So that is where all who REJECT JESUS CHRIST will GO. Don't wait. The time is near. For no one knows the time of their death.

A lot of people, such as the one who answered your question talking about his rights, are deceived. The devil doesn't care about them, he's just using them as a means to mock Jesus Christ. Some people actually believe that hell will be a fun place to be in, they'll get their every wish and be with all their friends, when the truth is hell is a place of utter darkness and everyone there is so miserable they will be crying out in anguish. The devil who deceived them will be there too, and he can't nor will he want to do anything about their anguish. God is love and gave His Son to die for the sins of the world. All He's ever wanted is for people to love Him in return. Thanks for posting the question. God bless you!!!

I'm not sure why anyone would want to go to hell, but from reading some of your answers, I'm afraid some of them might end up there. I think they will be greatly disappointed once they get there. On the other side of that last breath we take will be eternity. I certainly would not want to spend it in hell. How 'bout you?

Let's see what the scripture has to say...And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."
John 3:19-21

Everyone will be dealt with by the Lord at some point in His life. This scripure indicates that some will just love their sin so much that they love it more than God, or truth, or light.

Some think Hell is a party. An eternal place of drink, sex and fun. Some think Hell is on earth. Many believe hell is just a made up concept. I literally believe the Word of God. Hell is a place of a bottomless pit. It is so full but is never filled up. In the end times hell will be cast into a lake of fire. The condemned who dwell in hell will live in a constantly decaying body. Forever doomed. They will wish to escape but never will. Eons and Eons of time will pass by but sin will have them yet in a never ending grip of death. Their beauty also shall consume in the grave. A specially created worm will continually feast on them. There tongues, eyes will be plucked out. A constant hunger and thirst will fill them. Hell will be like living in a blast furnace and yet they will not burn up. They are destroyed not temporally but with an everlasting destruction.
Why do people go to hell? Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the way of the Lord.

They think that in Hell, They may be friends with Satan where there are lots of bitches, party, drinking and everything that is about vices.

Some of them doesn't believe that it exists and some look at God as a loving God that he is there to save and forgive for everything we have done.

If hell wasn't real, then why would Jesus let Himself, insulted, crucified, make fun of for saving all of you guys in the continuous death. He could have walked away and lived a simple life.

I know it is hard for those who doesn't read the bible. But we should live by faith and not by site. It will be hard for those who doesn't belive God and if you don't, try to search where it came from. Have you ever wonder how do we exist and where all this things came from? and how things are perfectly connected? It is not wrong to do it...

I dont know why anyone would want to go to hell because it is a place of everlasting pain and heaven is so much different because you are with your creator and in heaven you will never feel pain or sorrow. I wonder why people choose not to believe in God because he made us and his son died on the cross for us and atheist will reap what they sew because no sin goes unpunished. Im glad you can be smart enough to know there is a God and a heaven and hell because maybe we can teach all the others there is a God out there that watches over us everyday. Keep praying for those people because at the end it will be to late.

I've heard it said that when Satan was banished from Heaven, he said, "It's better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven." He was so full of himself. Just to mock God further, he deceives every soul he can -- dooming them to everlasting torment. Some are strong enough to see through his lies -- others find themselves believing in polytheism, atheism -- anything but the truth. It speaks volumes about your character that you don't see any sense in desiring to be in Hell. In parting, "If you're not a fanatic about going to Heaven, you ARE a fanatic about going to Hell"! (There is no "gray" area here.)

It was probably me that said that. The reason I would rather go to hell then worship your deity is because of these great words
"WE hold these Truths to be self evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain Unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness"
"Whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it"
"Give me liberty or give me death"

I will never support or worship anything that violates my UNALIENABLE RIGHTS. I am a philosopher, a revolutionary, an anarchist and an atheist.
As long as I have my rights I am happy without them I am miserable. So to be in a place for eternity without my rights would be horrible to me. I exercise my freedom in life no matter what.

This shows the true nature of fallen man. Man would rather suffer eternal damnation and punishment than bow their knee to the true Creator of the universe. This is a stark example of the tremendous need of man to be redeemed and the utmost lack of ability in man to make this decision.

It is by Christ's sacrifice alone that opens man's eyes to his need to be forgiven of his gross and condemning sin.

He and I are of a similar mind, then. A totalitarian God who creates the universe to have an exclusive group of fawning pets end up in his city seems like an unworthy object of devotion, in my opinion. That besides, a God who constantly monitors your thoughts and punishes you for even thinking in a way not of accord with his will, is a very malignant universal force.
I suspect that those in Hell would have more liberty and freedom of action than those dominated by that domineering God in his North Korean, Orwellian city of heaven. But to each their own.
