I remember thinking just like you. I was 14, didn't have a girlfriend...and now I'm 37 years old and married. I never thought I'd get married or learn to play keyboard or learn to drive. It all just happens naturally. Take your time. You have so many years to learn anything that you put your mind to.
To lose weight....don't sit around playing video games, and no matter how much you might like it, stay away from Burger King and MC'Ds. Put on some headphones and walk....and if it's too cold....go walk at the mall.
For Christmas ask your mom or dad for a gym membership. You can work out and get strong as an ox by the time your 16...and then you will be ready for the waterpolo. I highly doubt anyone will drown you. That's slightly illegal.

You are only 14 and you seem to have so much stress already. If you want to do things you have to learn to take risks. Yeah there might be some risk of drowning if you are in a pool, but if you think you would really enjoy playing waterpolo you should go for it. Don't worry about other people fighting, just stay away from them. And if you want to play drums, just go talk to a school counselor and find out what you can do, there are programs out there. That's what they are there for.

OK, young brother. First of all, get a grip.
Now about the water polo. Yes, it's dangerous. Most sports are dangerous, but that doesn't stop people from participating in them. If water polo is what you want, then jsut go for it.
Same for learning to play the drums. Check your local Yellow Pages. Look under Drums and look under Music Intruction and/or Music Teachers. If you have a music department in your school you might check with the music teacher to get some leads.
Losing weight - a very good goal. OK, what you have to do here is to eat a normal healthy diet. Cut out or at least cut down on snacks and sweets. Regular exercise is a key ingredient here, so start moving around more. Take up a sport in school. If you don't want to do that then do things like walk more or swim regularly. Bike riding is good too. You don't have to go to a gym and workout in order to lose weight sensibly. You have to set all this up for yourself and commit yourself to it.

If you want to do something that you enjoy bad enough then you will find a way to do it !! As far as lossing weight you can always go online and search for weight loss programs for teens, I'm sure they would have something you can read and go by. It could give you some ideas as were to start ! but you have to want to do it ! will your parents pay for you to take a class to learn how to play drums ? Maybe you could ask for drums for christmas or a birthday? then start from there ! also look it up too online! or ask around at school, like a music teacher may know someone or help you to find out about playing drums, you just got to start somewere!! It all comes down to you and if your willing to ask around and look up stuff about it online! Also i'm sure a P.E. teacher could help you about lossing weight and give you some ideas! Why not ask them? Good Luck to YA ! You Can do anything your heart desire !

Okay. Cut out eating in between meals.
Only eat healthy food and cut down on Carb’s like bread, potatoes, pasta's, rice, cereals, lollies, fruits etc. These are the fat making foods. Learn exactly what your food groups are so you then know what puts the weight on and off.
Don’t add salt to your meals. Cut out soft drinks.
Then walk an hour every morning two hours after a meal and the same in the afternoon.
If you can jog in between both sessions you'll burn even more calories. But just do what your body lets you do. Walking is just as good combined with diet control.
You should lose and continue to lose more weight as you go.
If you can cut out your lunch meal and replace it with a protein drink instead that would also help. Available in supermarkets. Like “Slim Right”.
As long as you can stay off junk food and eating in between meals. If you have to eat something in between have something like small raw carrots or celery sticks.
Herbal teas, low fat milk and water are your best choice of drinks.
Summary:
Choose a cereal low in sugar for breakfast. Remember all cereals are carbohydrates!
Lunch can best be a protein drink. Like “Slim Right”.
And all normal meals at a normal serve. Cut down on potatoes and only have small portions of these. Walking as much as you can.
For those that want to build more muscle add some gym work to the above as well.
Technical Stuff:
All our bodies require a specific quantity of a protein level. The protein is taken from the food we eat. If we eat higher concentrations of protein from specific foods like say meat then that level is reached quickly. If we don’t eat enough protein then our body searches for other sources of protein contained within the Carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates only contain a small amount of protein so we end up consuming too much of it just to get out limit of protein. At the same time absorbing too much sugar from the carbohydrates and in turn too much weight. This is how and why we put on weight. Many people over eat because they don’t consume enough protein from the right sources. Then they over compensate by binge eating carbohydrate type foods.

In order to accomplish anything in life, you must make up your mind that you will do it no matter what it takes. If you don't, you will never accomplish anything and be a loser.
First off--If you want to lose weight, cut out the most fattening things from your meals such as bread, pasta, potatoes, and sweets. Eact plenty of vegetables, both cooked and raw. Drink plenty of water before, during and after your meals. I guarantee you that you will lose weight.

it sounds like you have a fear of water and the fear of being around other highschoolers. I'm not a doctor but i have read in medical books and it sounds like you have a panic disorder. you might want to talk to a doctor about this problem because it can only get worse if not properly treated.
