I had a big crush on this girl in b-school. She asked me for career advice, I helped & noticed she was flirtatious. She mentioned her BF (diff city), but asked me to dinner (perhaps as thanks for my help). At dinner, she was definitely flirty but gave mixed signals. Later, she sent me a postcard from spring break. I emailed her asking her to dinner. She never replied, ignored me for 2 wks, made up a lame excuse to back out, but didn't suggest an alternate date. I figured she's playing me, so stopped contact. 2 wks later, she asked me to dinner (I refused thinking she's a a player). That week, at a party, I was dancing with another girl and she looked visibly jealous. A month later, I gave in, said hi, we flirted. 2 days later, at a party, she asked me to dance, we rubbed up on the dance flr. She was VERY flirty but next day again she talks about BF (mixed signals). I saw online photos from a party, she looks innocent yet mischievous, pretty, can get any guy. I feel like I blew it. Help

From a female's point of view it sounds like she's playing. She probably likes you and you're probably a nice looking guy. I don't doubt that IF she has a BF in another city she's either (a) trying to make him jealous or (b) acts the same way around him. You can hang around but know that whatever happened isn't your fault.

You didn't blow it, she's an immature girl who likes to play childish attention games. You on the other hand want a girl who's going to reciprocate your interests, so here's what you do. Start dating several women at a time until you find one that reciprocates your interests. If this chick starts back getting jealous, just tell her in a blunt manner "I'd be over at your house if you would stop playing games and give me some p*ssy. Otherwise, I'll continue to stroke those other kitty kats."

BTW... you didn't do anything wrong, and I commend you for rejecting her invitation to buy her dinner. I personally wouldn't have gone to a second dinner with her unless she's paying. Other than that, she gets a thrill out of playing bullshit games. Date other girls and move on.

i know exactly what you mean, i am such a jelouse person if someone dared to do that to me i would break up with them straight away. how can you trust this person ever again if they did that, because if he does it now, whats he gonna be like in a couple of years. even though its hard, you cannot show your jealousy because that will make him think that hes better than you, instead you need to be very loving with him but show him that you do NOT need him and dont always be available, go out on your own meet other people. You should tell him you were chatted up by other men even if it didnt happen and that way he will become the jealouse, insecure one. when your out with him smile at other men and he will realise how much it hurts. All girls are jealous so dont worry you are normal

Maybe it would be best to talk to this girl about how you feel and find out how she feels. Ask her if she thinks of you as a boyfriend or a plaything. You need to be clear when you speak with her as not to send mixed signals. Good luck.

Your problem IS VERY DIFFICULT. I'm saying this to you...... OK, she has a boyfriend and you think she likes you and you have a big crush on her, right? So let's see, your problem with that girl is way to difficult enough! I think that she only plays with you, just like you said. For things to be better, investigate her for 10 or 20 days and if you feel that she only plays you, its time to talk with her or get her to be jealous. If you feel that she is very jealous on another girl, it means that she loves you very much.

Sounds like she wants you and cant because of him! Just flat out ask her, Get him out of her life or just wait until they split up.... if they split up.... but im sure you can help them along with that.... *my evil laugh here* Im sure he wouldn't be pleased to hear about some of the things you told us... if you know what im saying ;) ;)

You are in a difficult situation my friend I hope you figure it out.... without getting in a fight with her boy friend (soon to be ex lol).

she's giving mixed signals because for one she has a b/f who she wants to stay faithful too. but then again she has a crush on you, her mind keeps reminding her she has a bf even though she likes you she doesn't want to get too close. if i was you i would move on she's unavailable

So maybe you are good looking and she wants to flirt, but you have bad breath or something so she changes her mind. Check your teeth, maybe your cologne, maybe ear wax? Man boobs?
