Alright. I'd like to explain a bit. First of all, I'm 18, an honors freshman in college and I have never been 'on a date' persay, before. This guy I've known for about two months now whom I consider a good friend, recently asked me out to dinner. I'd like to know what to wear. Typically, I wear jeans, tshirt, a nice top with tennis shoes maybe a hoodie. I love to get dressed up though, but I want to keep this casual. I love skirts and heels, but i'm afraid that'd be a bit much. Guys: What would you want? My style follows my smarts, I'm very intelligent and consider myself more of a classic than a trend setter. Any suggestions that will make him think wow, without seeming too out of the ordinary?

Whatever best fits the restaurant, the weather, and your personality and how much you want to impress him.
But you should also wear your second-best sexiest underbits. (If you don't have any, go buy some.) He won't know a thing about this, and that's fine -- but YOU will know what you've got on underneath and how righteous you'd appear, and this will likely give you a confidence boost.
Save the first-bests for what might be his chance to see 'em as well. That'll be up to you.
Oh, general case, something upwards of a tee-shirt. Even the best tee-shirts are still tee-shirts. Dinner dates merit better.

Wear something that your comfortable wearing like a nice pair of jeans, some heels, nice top, and a cool jacket and your good/

Sounds fine and casual to me, you are on the right track, don't overdress.
If I was taking my Honey Babe out on OUR first dinner date well She can be dressed anyway she what to be I would be just so happy to be with HER and be seen with HER we would definitely have after dinner plans hmmmm

Not to fancy it make me see her personality
I will recomend a nice blouse with some weak color pants
and dressing shoes
