The trick you proposed does not work and is in fact an urban legend. Here is the real dirty trick, actually show up on your court date. The overwhelming majority of the time the Police officer will not show up to defend the traffic ticket because he is either off or on duty writing more tickets. Most of the time the actuall police officer does not show and the charges are dropped. Try that legal tactic.

Sounds like something a teenager made up, absolutely untrue. The ticket takes effect before the officer ever hands it to you. If you overpay you probably will get a refund for the extra but that has no effect on the status of your citation, you'll just lose that money.

i think advantageous that the Republicans will pull a grimy trick on Obama. maximum possibly they are going to initiate small, by using employing a skinny layer of seran wrap over the rest room seat interior the college wash room. Later they could circulate as much as extra important issues like putting a bucket finished of water over a a million/2 opened door, calling him into the room and watching the water spill throughout his hear, or bribing his spouse to dip his finger in heat water at the same time as he sleeps. do no longer think of i'm making all this up. All of this and extra took place to Michael Dukakis whilst he ran against George Bush SR. those repiblicans are recommend bastards.

It is a matter of record when they write and log the ticket.
So no, that stunt wouldn't get you out of anything, except for the extra money you didn't get back.

My court mails you the entire check back. Then, if you don't send a check for the correct amount by the required date, then you didn't pay the ticket, and a warrant gets issued for your arrest.
