I recently got a ticket and while looking into it I found that the person that wrote the ticket put down wrong info. I do know that the only way to void a ticket is if its a major error, When I was looking for resource it did say that if the model, color, or year of the car was wrong on the ticket i do have the right to get it void, is this right?

Citations are not voided. If the Officer can logically explain the error, it will then be amended in court.

No. That will almost certainly not be enough to get the case against you dismissed, unless the incorrect information is related to the offense somehow. Even then, it will be up to the judge to make a decision. You would save some time if you just paid it (unless you have information to present that is relevant to the charge).

No, if it was you it was you and that's all there is to it. Error or no error, you're still guilty and that's what the judge will say.

Appeal for the correction of your ticket so that the penalty will be decreased.
