Everyone is going to tell you to go to their church but I say do some research find out what the Bible says then find a church that teaches what the Bible says. There are a few points to narrow things down one would be the Day The lord wants you to keep Holy. Study that out and that will narrow your selection down. Use the Internet to help you. Also what happens to a person when they die? Find out what the Bible says about death and about where the wicked go and where the righteous go. You see there is only one truth and that is what the word of God says. I did what I am telling you to do. If you want my opinion what the church is closest to the Bible I will tell you just email me. But please don't take any bodies word for it including mine please study the Bible and Pray about it if you seek you shall find.

If you can find a Calvary Chapel church in your area they would be quite excellent. i know that there are Calvary Chapels throughout the world.

i did my Bible College work at one of their schools and sometimes attend their mid-week services (although i serve at a small Chinese Church). My experience with Calvary Chapel is that they teach the Bible in an expository manner (verse-by-verse) and are obedient to what the Bible teaches. I hope you can find one in your area.

I know that alot of peaple put Jehovah's Witnesses down, but they do use the Bible and have Bible based theachings and beliefs. Don't let others fool you or make this decision for you. John 15:18-21 says why many talk against the Witnesses.
18 If the world hates YOU, YOU know that it has hated me before it hated YOU. 19 If YOU were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because YOU are no part of the world, but I have chosen YOU out of the world, on this account the world hates YOU. 20 Bear in mind the word I said to YOU, A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute YOU also; if they have observed my word, they will observe YOURS also. 21 But they will do all these things against YOU on account of my name, because they do not know him that sent me.
