My neighbors LOVE to have sex. That's great and all, but I feel like I'm listening to porn. I'm probably not going to do anything, but I want to hear what you would do or have done to neighbors who want to share their love with the world (heh heh heh)!

When I was in high school the people in the apartment above mine would be having sex all the time, and I could hear it ALL. You can imagine how uncomfortable it was for a teenager! It also doesn't help that the woman up there was one of the nastiest people I've ever seen. Sometimes I would bang on the ceiling but I guess they couldn't hear it over all of their enjoyable activities! At this time, I was too poor to have a mp3 player, back when they were still kind of ~cool~ and ~luxury~ so I had no outlets.
Anyway, I told my mom and she talked to the woman. It worked . . . for a little while. Then they were back at their same old business. Ah, well. I don't live there anymore, so! Haha.

I live in a dorm so I hear all sorts of thing I never wanted to... Typically sex noises are few and far between so unless their bed is thumping my wall i just turn up my volume and try my best to ignore it. If your neighbors are really getting to you type up an annonymous note and stick it on their door. If that doesn't work and they're REALLY getting to you, call the cops and report a domestic disturbance... all the screams made you think something was wrong... LOL.

My friend had this problem waking her up in the middle of the night all the time. First, she banged on the ceiling. Then, she left a note. Finally, she reported them to the apt complex. One day she came home to find the neighbor bringing in a new (less squeaky) bed. Problem solved!

Get a stereo with a remote and carry it on you at all times while at home. When they start in whip it out and turn the stereo on.

The next time I saw them I would say, "Wow, you guys are loud, what's your secret?" That way they would know that I can hear them and be quieter or aroused, and louder; in which case I would invite them over.

Sorry but there are laws that state apartment managers cannot tell people what to do inside their apartments (excluding causing damage or illegal activites). Maybe get an Ipod and listen to it when they start up?

I don't see what you could possibly do about it. They're entitled to do that in their own home.
Maybe turn your music up if it bothers you.
