I was just talking normal to this gimp at work and he got all upset. Whats with that???

If you think of this person as a "gimp" (What a nasty word!) you are probably talking to him in that same frame of reference.

How would you like it if you had a physical challenge, and some ignoramus displayed his rudeness to you?

You need to remember this person is every bit as good as you. You are not superior.

Probably not. I have heard people like you talking loudly to a person in a wheelchair, as though their use of a chair meant their hearing was impaired. How very stupid.
