I do not think god is a woman or a man. I don't believe in god, but I do know people who think god is a woman. Heck, I know somebody who thinks god is a dog.

I'm convinced that we are the product of, or rather parts of, a living divine female body. Goddess is the real, tangible Universe, and the study of Her is called Thealogy. It is an all encompassing cosmology too complex to go into here, but you can learn about it at :

The-Goddess blog - http://the-goddess.org/blog/index.html

or at

Radical Goddess Thealogy - http://www.godmotherascending.blogspot.com

You might want to check out books about Dianic Wicce/ Wicca if you're really interested. Look for authors Zsuzsana Budapest, Starhawk, and Shekhinah Mountainwater.

Peace~

Emmanuel - God is with us (in the form of a Man)

God's name is always masculine.

There is absolutely no indication that the Creator is Female.

But in many respects this is a moot point. There will be no marriage or giving in marriage in heaven. Procreation and gender only has significance on the earth. It has nothing to do with what will be.

God is a duality, man and woman. not like a hermaphrodite, but two separate beings. God created humans in his own image. thus, men and women.

Personally I haven't found anywhere in the bible where women are mentioned before God created Eve the first human female.

So I think God and all the angels in heaven are male.

Since you used a lower case "g" I will say "yes"...a whole bunch of folks do.

Personally I believe God presented Himself as a man (the Father and Christ) but man and woman are both made in His image (Genesis 1) and men and women are obviously different so God must have the attributes of both.

Just call Him He and get over the nonsense.

I don't believe in deities, but as it is... giving life is usually a womanly thing, and as such I think anything that would be creating/giving life would better off be called MOTHER instead of Father.

So what's the thumbs down for? The fact that I don't believe? Which would be judgmental and prejudice, right? Or the thought of a deity being called a mother? Well, the horror.

I'm sure someone does. I believe that the God is masculine in nature, but the Goddess is feminine.

no the bible refers to God as a male
the words "father" "son" etc
but i believe that God has feminine attributes (although he isn't female) such as mercy, and compassion
thats what ive gleaned!!
