my friend is in love with this senior, football player, very tall, handsome, in a manly sorta way.
she doesn't even know his name, she wants to know if she has a gf. what should we do , iwanna help her.. .

Hmm.. If you're confident enough - you can go and talk to him. Strike up a conversation during lunch, both of you. Discuss sports or upcoming events at school, etc. It should be a way to start.
If you're not that confident about just striking up a conversation - why not write him a note to leav in his locker - give him your email address or cell phone number. It could be a way to break the ice - and if he's interested he will definitely call or email. A good way, and it's something I'd do, if I wasn't sure about a guy and wanted to know if he liked me back - and wanted to find out more about him.

Ask people if he has a gf or not then go up to him with her and maybe talk about school and stuff like football and upcoming games. Then, let her take control of the convo and remember that she has to have eye-to-eye contact, look really interested in him and his convo and that she has to flirt too.

just ask him striaght up. if i was him (im not...duh) i would like someone who is straight forward. not someone who is all telekenesis, and tries to tell him "i like you, but im not sure if i can tell you, because im shy, so im just gonna do this and stuff" by just looking at him. tell ur friend good luck
