How much would the insurance on a 1998-2000 Lexus LS 400 be for a seventeen year old? I would be on my parent's insurance program. Just a guess would be good. If you actually know, that would be great. Thanks.

The only way to get an accurate quote is to call your agent, or have your parents call. That being said, it will be pretty expensive.

-Insurer may consider a high performance car based on HP to weight ratio (290hp, 150mph top speed, 3800lbs)
-Lexus' are expensive to repair
-your age is a factor
-your driving experience is a factor
-the household driving record/experience is a factor
-do you have a 3.0 GPA
-the state you are in is a factor
-17yr old male or female? Males pay more
-will you drive the car daily to school, or just when your parents are not using it
-annual mileage may be a factor

Educated guess: $700 - $1000 per 6 months - It will go down once you hit 18 and have at least 2 yrs of driving experience

Go to an insurance website and get a quote. Or call your parent's insurance co. and ask them!
