Alcohol is mentioned all over the place. Drugs...Yeah, but it doesn't come through in English well...

I don't know about drugs, but for alcohol, there's the Wedding at Cana, the Last Supper, and mentions of wine in the Old Testament.

No drugs. Just alcohol, Abraham drank too much and Canaan his nephew may have done something to him in "his nakedness" that would explain why he later cursed Canaan and his descendants. Lot's daughters got him drunk and had sex with him. The bible says wine is good but only in moderation. It condemns drunkeness for obvious reasons. Jesus turned water into wine.

Not sure about drugs, but alcohol is approved of IN MODERATION. Drunkenness is a sin. But it's okay to 'take a little wine for thy stomach's sake'.

There are many places that suggest they overindulged in alcohol..although I can't find a scripture on drugs,,I am sure they used them...mankind has always found things to be addicted to, throughout history...
Drunkards shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Children of God have no need to cloud their perspectives nor dull their senses. We must be able to think and reason clearly. Drunkenness causes one to lose focus and rationality. Those who give themselves over to intoxication will find that it keeps them from entering heaven.
1 Corinth Chapter 6
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Wine was the common drink of the time. Jesus and His apostles drank it regularly, as did everyone else. He also provided it for a wedding feast, as His first miracle.
