There are so many misconceptions about my religion....I am an Arab-American Muslim and I wonder how people feel about Islam right now......
Is there anything you were always wondering about Islam? I guess I'm just trying to start some kind of dialogue here because I'm really curious to hear what my fellow Americans feel towards my religion.....

Cult? So the fasting growing religion in the world is a cult? I will not approach you with the same rudeness, but I will simply ask you...
What do you know about the Religion of Islam? What facts have you based your accusation on or are you just blindly repeating what you have been brainwashed to believe....
You should know, you can insult Islam all you want, you do not offend me, rather you offend your soul, I only pray to God, that He allows me the opportunity to tell "I told You So" while he burns you in the pits of Hell.

Let's try to be civilized people, everyone has their own beliefs....
You don't hear me making fun of your beliefs, even though I think it is crazy that would have a son, and send His son to be crucified for mankind, especially when half of mankind does not believe in Him

REGARDING EXTREMISM-I agree with you. It makes me very mad when I turn the t.v and I see that innocent human lives are being killed in the name of religion. When a bad act is done in the name of Islam I become so ashamed, but why is the West so damn hypocritical? Mind you I was born and raised in the U.S.....
How many hundreds of thousands of innocent lives have died in Iraq, purely for greed, oil, money, and the rich keep getting richer. Although many people disagree with the war in Iraq, you never call Bush an extremist.
Innocent lives lost are innocent lives lost, the life of an american is not worth more than the life of an Arab....At least Islamic Extremist have convinced themselves they are fighting in the name of God...right or wrong they have a cause.
I am not trying to say what they do is right, I just am saying "He without sin cast the first stone", Bush has alot more innocent blood on his hands'....

2telldatruth - I wasn't trying to avoid your question.....No...I think many Muslims may feel the way I do, I do not believe you can make someone a believer by force.
I personally would rather love than fight. I would rather teach about my religion, and if you don't end up believing it really would not bother me. I think we all face God on Judgement Day and are responsible for our own actions, my soul will not bear the responsibility of your sins, so no you do not mean enough to me to want to kill you.......
However, if I had lived in an Islamic Country, and you were killing Muslims, then yes I would fight!!!!

***REGARDING USING DEADLY FORCE****
Please understand that The Holy Quran was revealed at a different time than we are in....There was paganism, the previous Messages the Lord had sent through his previous Prophets had been altered, baby girls were buried alive, and The Holy Quran only basically said to kill the non-believers were they stand so that they can face their Lord.
It did not say Kill Jews or Kill Christians, and it specifically says that a Muslim is not only not supposed to kill someone who believes in One True God, but is also supposed to protect them.
I cannot stress enough that some of these revelations came during a TIME OF WAR, and logic would state that it would not apply to this day and age.
---The Holy Quran does not state that All Christians or Jews will go to Hell. It does specifically state there are from these people that practice monotheism and do rightous deeds and those do go to heaven.
