I am a smart, witty, funny, caring, and loyal guy. I have a great sense of humor and take jokes well. I would also do a lot for a girl if she needed anything. I would be there for her. But there's a downside. I am a heavier guy, and not exactly the best looking, hottest guy... Do girls really care about personality over looks Or do they just not like fat guys?

Either you've posted this question a lot, or there are a lot of guys just like you wondering the same thing.
Most girls will rate personality over looks for a guy. That doesn't mean that looks are completely unimportant. Work on exercising a few times a week and cutting back on food a little and drop some pounds if this is an issue of insecurity for you.

I've dated the "hot guy" and he turned out to be a bad choice. My boyfriend now, the one I'm living with and we're planning on a future together, was a big dork when I met him! I never thought I'd end up with him... Personality is everything. And, I know this is the same for some of my buddies, when I start liking somebody, they seem more attractive just because I like them.

Dude, I know a guy who i went with to the fire academy. He's short, fat, and bald. But he has a HOT girl. How does he do it? With an awesome sense of humor, great personality, and as cool as the other side of the pillow.

I actually care for both. If a guy has good personality but no looks at all then I won't be dating him. Also, even if he has the looks but bad personality then I won't go out with him as well~ so I go for looks and personality. Sorry but yeah!!
Most of the guys I know have both anyway! =\/=

Trust me, There is someone for everyone, In general girls go for the looks like they want to put you out in public and show you off. They do not think about the person you are or can be as in a future relationship. Lower your standards and find someone who is just as overweight as you. This will cause you to be more understanding and humble.

ok that first girl has it all wrong. listen. This is waht i have noticed. There are girls who like larger guys and ones that like smaller guys. Thers a special scale. personality is on a scale of 1 to 10. whats your personality? it depends on what the other person is looking for. Lets say your a 9. ok and the sae with looks scale of 1 to 10. lets say, that for me, i tend to liek guys that are in good shape and that can keep up with me. I have never seen you so i cant really judge but pick a number, say 6. average 6 and 9...overall your a 7.5...which is good! its a hard thing to explain, but it all depends ont he girl. i knwo guyst hat wont date me becasue they think im too skinny. stink with it, youll find somone that really cares abotu you for your looks and your personality all at once.

You probably just end up in The Friend Zone. It's a hard, but not impossible, place to get out of. If you find a girl you like, slowly become more flirtatious--not so quick as to scare her, if you are already friends, but enough for her to notice.
It's not about your looks. You are just fun to be around, and you are a bigger guy so girls look as you as the protective friend.

after all looks eventually fade whereas personality is who you are : )
even tho looks are a plus and may be what catches the girls attention, who you are inside is what will keep her around
like brad pitt once said, " Looks may get you through the door, but personality is what keeps you in the room."
