I’ve seen too much bad science. I’ve seen to many reports by “scientist”, only to find they tried to hide the data they used, hide their assumption, and once they are shown to have used bad science, have the pro-man-made global warming crowd say, but it doesn’t matter.
I’ve seen the IPCC issue reports, yes I read it, where the warming they claim is happening is within the +- error of their very report. I read the summary where the IPCC stated they would ensure the report matched the summary. Excuse me, isn’t that a little backwards. Shouldn’t the report have been finished first then a summary or is this the “new” science where I draw my conclusions first and make sure the evidence matches my conclusions.
I’ve seen solutions that would cost billions of dollars per year, for only the US, for a maybe saving so small we couldn’t measure it and that didn’t apply to everyone.
I’ve seen the statement where the polar bears are “DROWNING BECAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING” repeated over and over again only to find out there was a big storm and the polar bears drown because of the storm. Once that was pointed out the pro-man-made global warming crowd said the storm was a result of global warming.
I’ve seen the pro-man-made global warming attract people with legitimate questions, even to go so far at to threaten their careers. Because how dare ANYONE question man-made global warming. Yep that makes for good science. I’ve seen too many statements that it’s settled science, just like the question of continual drift was settle, there was a consensus, and continents don’t drift silly, only the consensus was wrong.
Now I have many other reasons to doubt man-made global warming, but what I’ve seen of the pro-man-made global warming crowd is they want power. Power to say what I can and can’t do, what I can and can’t buy, what kind of car I have to drive, what cloths I wear etc, of course the rules don’t apply to them you understand, just everyone else.
But that doesn’t make global warming fake I can prove that global warming is happening and can prove the global was warmer about 5,000 years ago and cooling down. The real question is how much is caused by man and the science right now says not much.

I believe that this is simply a cycle we are going through, and I also believe that we have passed the peak of that cycle, and this is not just a belief, the data from the SUN supports this belief. There are changes that humanity has made to the planet that have had an effect on climate, but these changes are probably very small, and will not counteract a change in solar output.
One of the last remaining mysteries that would solve the problem of how much of global warming is solar and how is caused by humanity, is the satellite record of solar energy levels reaching earth. Unfortunately there is not a consistent record over the last thirty years of total solar irradiance (TSI), so there are two basic TSI datasets, one called ACRIM and one called PMOD. Unfortunately the space shuttle challenger disaster caused a gap in the ACRIM data during a critical time of solar maximum, so there is some disagreement on how to bridge the gap.
http://www.acrim.com/
ACRIM by some climatologists put the warming in the last three decades at 35% solar or more.
PMOD puts the warming over the same period by only 10%.
See table 1 in the following paper for various trends computed.
http://www.fel.duke.edu/~scafetta/pdf/20...
If ACRIM were integrated into climate models and all of the positive feedback mechanisms associated with the increase in solar energy were properly factored in the solar based contribution to global warming would likely excede 35%, by a substantial margin.
There are many predictions that indicate the coming decades will be much cooler, they should be carefully considered, because they will be more challenging for humanity than global warming.

Global Warming is real, the question is whether we caused it.
Despite the 'proof', and despite the 'expert knowledge', we can only make educated guesses as to exactly what is happening now and what will occur later.
We can take measurements, and use them to fit almost any hypothesis we can make up, therein lies the problem.
The world works as an ecology but not a closed system, there are outside influences beyond our control, the sun, orbital variations, earth's 'wobble', the moon; any one or combination of these things can make any thing we do, be like a 'spit in the ocean', yet we are definitely having local influence, so who's to tell?
Remember, as much as there is global warming, it's part of the earth's climate changing as a whole, something that has been happening since it's formation.

It's proven by scientist that global warming is indeed happening as I write to you and if we don't act now with hastiness we could potentially harm the planet in an astronomical way, we have a 10 year window and there are simple things you can do to contribute......WAIT A SECOND you don't believe in global warming, right right, well I hope you don't live in FL NY MN NJ CL because thats were it's gonna be under water, because of the solar ice caps melting at a rapid and alarming rate, ALSO look at some of what used to be the most beautiful land regions that are dessert now, you need to stop your ignorance and accept reality, OH BY THE WAY EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU SAY STUPID ****!

Hv u made any comparison of the weather then(50 yrs ago) to the weather now??
Its much hotter now.all due to global warming.technology contributes to it.
and what abt the ice in the north pole melting?it cant be just a cycle.if its a cycle evrythng wld be back to normal and back to the warmth on earth again.
Im soo sure its not a weather cycle and global warming is getting worse day by day.development-factories, housing, transport are all making the earth a hotter place to live in.
save the earth!!!

Global warning is absolutely true. Perhaps you should try to watch the video of "Inconvient Truth", then you probably believe it is true. If you are living in big and polluted city, such as Hong Kong, New York, London, or Los Angels, you will experience the air is foul and hard to breath. You are damn wrong! I can assure you that the global warning has nothing to do with weather cycle.

I don't believe global warming is fake. I think the Earth does go through cycles (ie. the Ice Age) but I think we are significantly increasing the rate at which it happens.

The "man made" global warming is only delaying the natural cycle of earth's warming and cooling. In about 15,000 years, there will be another ice age. Also in the past, there has been times where the CO2 levels were a few times more than they are now.

You need good records and you need to study them. It is not something that can be casually noticed. Climate and weather scientists are doing those studies and most of them say the pattern is clearly above and beyond natural cycles. So there is a natural cycle, but the recent changes are more than can be explained only by natural cycles.

Because of the scientific data, a lot of people disagree with you.
99+% of all scientists.

EVERY major scientific organization.

Here's why. The scientists know all about natural cycles. And they know the data proves this cycle is not natural.
"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”
