OK, I'm a 14 year old guy, and I have 2 cousins, one who is my age, and one who is 12 (both girls). They both go to the same school I've gone to all my life. Lately I've become jealous of both of them for a few reasons:

They're both still going to that school, my sister and I are not.
They both do well in school, are very popular, have a lot of friends, as I am struggling in school, have very few friends, have no popularity, etc.
Their parents are still together, mine are not.

Is it wrong to be jealous of them because of their happiness whereas I am kind of struggling? I just wish I could trade lives with them or something.

Jealousy is always wrong. Its a negative emotion and can be destructive to you and others.

Jealousy is a terrible waste of your energy.
"Living well is the best revenge."

Join some clubs, get into some extracurricular activities, to meet people and socialize.
Find some people to form a study group with so you can get a handle on the courses you are weak on.
Look into any excuse to locate people you can talk to.

i wish that people wouldn't always recognize jealousy as a sin because its an emotion that we cant help but feel sometimes. but dont get me wrong, when u hate a person because u envy them or u r rude to them, thats what I think is stupid. so what I'm trying to say is... try to appreciate what you have. and dont feel bad about being a little jealous.

well we all have our struggles in life and they just make you stronger...........popularity doesn't last forever evetually people fade. be sure of one thing that you are strong and jsut do your best even when it gets hard. Always remeber just because your cousins "look happy", everyone has there complexes and every family has their tough times.............but the best thing to do for yourself is never compare yourself to anyone else.
