That sounds quite healthy. I would suggest mixing your cereal with some Fiber One or other high fiber cereal.

Oh boy...I don't want to break your heart, Italian miss but your diet is uhmmm...awful!

Pasta might as well be a weight you tie around yourself before you get on the scale---it has almost zero nutrional value. It provides a lot of carbohydrates and a lot of energy in the form of calories and almost zero nutrients except those that are present in the RE-FORTIFIED flour it is made with.

You're fine with the meats, the fish and the vegetables.

I would forego bananas if I were trying to lose weight--they are too starchy and quite high in calories. They would be suitable as an entire meal replacement though.

As for the fruit juice--one glass a day is more than enough--think of most fruit juices as empty calories!

Cereal is right up there with pasta by the way...it is not very good for you.

You say that you suffer from bloating--do you have other digestive problems?

Do you routinely feel bloated after eating bread or pastas or drinking milk or eating cheese? You may have an intolerance to wheat or gluten or you may be lactose intolerant.

In Italy, as a matter of fact, children are routinely tested for Celiac disease--a serious disease whereby gluten--a substance present in wheat and some other grains causes disease of the intestinal tract.

I would recommend a significant portion of lean protein on your plate along with something "colorful" like a variety of vegetables. Try to stay away from anything white or beige in color and you will be doing your body and your health a world of good.

I think you need to add a little more variety in your everyday meals. When you constantly eat the same kinds of food, your body just gets used to it and it sometimes hinders you from losing weight, if that's your goal. Try a new fruit or vegetable everday, discover new flavors.

Variety also helps you get necessary vitamins and nutrients that you usually don't get from your special K and alfredo sauce...

And frozen dinners are PACKED with sodium (salt). Eating too much salt is one of the reasons to feeling bloated.

All I can think of as a way to reduce the bloating is to drink more water...remember, you need to have at LEAST 8 glasses of water a day. Water is also an important key to weight loss ;)

Good luck!
