No, i'm not going to try and be a jerk or anything. consider this, If you Christians believe that God is true, and everyone MUST believe in Jesus to be saved, then what if It were Allah? How about A hindu God? Buddha? Zeus? Greek Gods, Norse Gods, Roman Gods, Japanese Gods, etc. The thing is, do you really expect us to just all expect to drop on our knees to something most of us don't believe in? What would you think, if you're a Muslim, and It turns out to be Jesus or a christian God? You might be disappointed wouldn't you? So, is it really such a big deal to assume that everyone has to believe in Jesus and expect to be saved? Can you be so 100% sure that their beliefs are folly and that we atheists are just blind to the personal belief of others? Do you think it is fair to others with their own personal belief? It's fine to believe what you want to believe, but what aboput everyone else? Have you thought about them?

I don't expect anyone to believe like I do.
But I believe that there is only one G-d. The G-d of Moses. The G-d of Abraham.
And I believe that Yeshua is the Messiah.
I don't expect that everyone believes that. I don't try to force anyone to believe that.
You have free will.
But yes, it is a big deal to me. I do believe that Yeshua is the ONLY way to be saved.
But you, and everyone else has the free will to decide what is right for you.
And yes, that is fair to others, to have the choice to believe whatever he/she wants to believe.
Yes, I do think about others in my everyday life.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't expect you to do any thing you don't want to do, or to believe anything that you don't want to believe, or any person of another faith for that matter, if they choose not to. We tell people about God, but we don't expect you to believe or not to believe. That is your choice, the same as it is for any other faith or religion. It's your choice, I can't make it for you. If people have their own personal beliefs that do not agree with mine, then if their faith in their belief is strong enough, nothing I say will change their mind anyway, so why worry about it?
No more then you are a dunce. I did not say the same thing you said. You said it was fine to believe the way you want to believe, but what about every one else. You also said is it really a big deal to assume that every one has to believe in Jesus to expect to be saved? I said I don't expect you or any one else to believe the way I do, that it is up to you. Read your own question before calling people names. If you did not want an answer that you didn't like , why ask the question. You know you are bound to get a lot of them that you don't like.

Just to make it clear, christians only believe in One God. So therefore, you would have to ommit, Greek GODS, Norse GODS, Roman GODS, Japanese GODS, etc. Second, Our God goes by MANY MANY names. Jehova is the Jewish name for him, Allah is the muslim name for him, etc. But the concept isn't lost, because we're still talking about the same ONE. Do I expect you to drop on your knees to praise him, if you don't believe in him? No. I expect you to get your facts straight first, and if you don't believe, then why bother questioning? But on judgement day you can't say you didn't know, or you never heard of it.

Well Mystic, I think you pointed out the problem without even realizing it. You said the word belive 15 times within your question. others may belive this or others may belive that. heres the issue, which takes more importance, what we belive or what is true? think about it for a moment, the Human mind is capable of beliving anything, I could belive that the earth is flat, that the moon is an obstical illusion. al though I may belive this earnestly, my belife dosent neccisarily make it true. therefore could someone who simply "belives" someting would end up onthe other side of death and find out that he or she was wrong? if were being reasonalbe we wil admit that thats a posibillity. for exapmple if someone belives there is nothing after death but when he or she dies there is something, then he or she would be 100% wrong. And there cant be a wrong answr unless there is a right answer. thereofr e one cannot choose to belive whatever he wishes so we can jsut all get along. there has to be eternal truth, if thats the case and people in your congregation of freinds and neighbors have wrong answers for eternity, what is it exactly that you would intend to do about that? ofcourse you would want to tell them. Now what if Im wrong? first off I have belived the only faith that has evidnece to back it up, if you would take a moment o examine the claim sfo validity of other religons this becomes obviously true. lastly I know jesus personally, I though raised in a Church going family fell away from my belife in God and the tenets of the christian faith and becmae rathe agnostic, I didint want anything to do with reading the Bible and didnt care to take the time to think about God. I thought to myself, even if there is sometihg after death, IM a good person, ill be fine. but then God began speaking too me and revealing to me my sin, that I had broken his law, that I had stolen, looked with lust, lied blpahsmed his name andlooked with lust. God reminded me that he holds every heartbeat in his control and that one day when I take my final breath all this that I posses here on earth wil be snatched away and i would stand beofre Him a Holy and rightoues God. but then god showed me his mercy, that while I was guilty of lying and stealing and doing other things that violate His law, he died for us. I then repented (turned form sin)and trusted in jesus. at that very Moment I pased form the realm of belife inot the realm of experince, i didint simply belive in Jesus, Now I know Him. if your wrong, you are literally choosing to end up In hell, are you sure you want to do that? please think about your eternal destiny, because it only matters whats true, not what we belive.
"its repentace and faith in christ that saves Christians, not an intellectual belife." Todd F.

Well, I guess it boils down to what I believe in my heart. I am responsible for myself, just as you are yourself. If people want to believe in other Gods, or no God at all, that is their decision. I just know in my heart my God is my redeemer. That is what I will live by. If some people deny him, I can't help that. I do think I am obligated to share the good news of Jesus' salvation, but after that the only person I am responsible for is myself. I can only offer His plan of Salvation for your life, it is your decision to accept it or not. I can share my testimony and try to witness to others, but in the end I will answer for myself as you will for yourself. As the post above stated it is faith that has brought me to believe in my Jesus.
God Bless!

Christians don't believe that what man thinks is fair is relevant. Christians believe that God makes the rules, so he decides what's fair and what's not. Christians believe that it is the way it is, whether it's fair or not.

It is not fine to believe what you want to believe. You have to search for truth, and when you find it - that's what you should believe. Don't assume that Christians have no reason to believe as they do. Faith comes from the heart. I'm sorry if that has no meaning to you.
