my girlfriend thinks it is the most important thing and says i dont do it with her enough ... i dont know ive never been the type to see that its important in a relationship .. imconfused we argue about it but i dont know what to do? been together 1 year still complains to me

Well, making out is not the most important thing in the relationship. It's the connection and love that you both have together that's the most important. Making out is just gestures that show your affection for that person. However, it's definitely something that fulfills a part of your relationship.

Sexual intimacy is one important element of many in a relationship. Its order of importance depends on the person involved, and like any other aspect of a romance(such as time spent together,support, etc) can be negotiated.In your year together, I am sure there were things that were highly important to you that you wanted your partner to give you. The same thing applies to her ; it just happens to be sexual intercourse in her case. So simply sit down and talk and see what compromise you both can arrive at where each person gets some of what they want. Nobody is going to get everything they want---not 100%., but every one will be happy and the complaints will no longer exist.

it is important but there is also compromise. i mean i am into the whole lovey dovey, touching, feeling, kissing, i dont understand how my man either doesn't like to make out when the time is right of course, not like in public or anything like that, but its a nice sensual feeling to have that your man or women feels that way about you. i guess it depends on how she looks at it. if it means alot to her, try it, if not and she knew this a year ago, then she needs to figure out what is more important to deal and live with in your relationship.

Making out is okay to show her the way you feel about her, but communication, loyalty, respect are more important. How can you have a relationship with someone you don't talk to?

I think it's an important part of a relationship. Especially since your girlfriend wants it and you don't. Then you aren't fulfilling her needs and she's not going to be happy with you. So if you don't want to lose her I'd give her more attention/affection.

your girlfriend needs to control her hormones. its not important to make out, its more important if you guys really love each other. making out is just like the side meal. just a benefit when you're in a relationship, but too much can spoil the real meal - you guys' love.

i'm 17 and i have never made out before. i guess it would be important to some people. maybe if u want to know why it is to her try asking why and maybe u should do it more.
