when you die it is only your physicall body that dies but your soul lives on for eternity, where you will spend eternity is the most important question. Also, when you follow God there are bound to be more trials and temptations from evil trying to get you to leave God. Now as for the good ppl vs. the bad ppl argument, you can be the nicest most generous, loving, kind, open hearted person but that does not get you into heaven. Let me ask you this Do you think you are a good person?
when you die will you go to heaven or hell?
Why do you think that?
God will judge you based on the 10 commandments, do you follow them?
lets test that, (i'm sure you said that you try to) :)
these are yes or no questions no beating around the bush
Have you ever told a lie no matter how small?
if you have (which i know u have) that would make you what?
a lier righ?!
Have you ever stolen something? even a piece of gum?
that would make you a theif
*The bible says that "any man who looks at a woman with lust has already commited adulty is his heart."
Have you ever looked at someone with lust?
that would make u an adulter
the bible also says that if you hate some one than you have commited murder
that would make you a murderer
so that makes you a lying, adulterus, killing, thief and that is only 4 of the 10!!!!
So if God judges you by that standard will you be going to heaven or hell?
Now if you were in court today and you had all those charges against you and the judge said the only way i'll let you go is if you pay $1 trillion you would say well i don't have it so i guess i'm going to jail. you might also tell the judge " i think you're a good guy so you should let me go" the judge would say you are right i am a good guy and that is why you will go to jail!
The same is with God he will send you to hell because he is good why should he let you off the hook?
*But say a stranger came into the court, someone you don't know and says you don't know me but i know and love you so i will pay your $1 trillion dollars.
*Jesus is that stranger he paid your ransom (and mine) so that we may enter heaven even though we don't deserve it (no one does) all you need to do to admit to God that you are a sinner and ask Jesus into your heart walk with Jesus and grow in him! and when it comes judgment time all of those things you did will be gone :)
i hope i explained this well, and i hope this helped answer any questions!

First of all, according to the Scriptures, there are no good people. All of us deserve damnation for our sinful hearts and desires. Naturally, from birth, we deny God and rebel against His authority. The ones God has saved, are so because He has overcome our natural resistance and granted us faith to trust in the sacrifice of His Son, who died on the cross for the salvation of His people.
Now, as far as diseases and things like that. If we deserve hell, why wouldn't we deserve a disease? We deserve far worse than we get. Every breath we take is an undeserved gift from the Almighty. He doesn't owe us anything. He doesn't owe us good health. We're His creatures and He may do anything He wishes with us. He always has good purposes for ordaining sickness, pain, and accidents. Truly, with God, there are no accidents. Every single thing that happens has been planned since before the foundation of the world. The problem seems to be that you have too high a view of mankind and to low a view of the God who created them.
"I am the Lord, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; that men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, the One forming light and creating darkness, causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the Lord who does all these." (Isaiah 45:5-7)
"Whatever the Lord pleases, He does in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all the deeps." (Psalm 135:6)
I know this sounds harsh, but a right view of God is necessary in order to serve Him and give Him the glory due His holy name. If we perceive him as small, out of control, or negligent, then we rob Him of His glory and don't see Him for who He is...the sovereign God of the universe!

Sometimes bad things happen but there is really a good in it. Our knowlegde as human beings is very limited. Sometimes bad things happen to people as a test by Allah swt (The God), he wants to raise them more in status. Abraham was tested in the most when asked to scrafice his son and Allah chose him as a friend. Ayyub (Job) was tested with loss of children, illness, and poverty.
[29:2-3] "Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe," without being put to the test?" We have tested those before them, for God must distinguish those who are truthful, and He must expose the liars.
Someone else could be a bad person and after being hit by a calamity become closer to God.
Other times, It can be punishment from God.
Bad things like a disease acts to cleanse the sins of a believer.
Prophet Mohammed (SAW says):
“Strange is the affair of the Mu’min (the believer), verily all his affairs are good for him. If something pleasing befalls him he thanks (Allah) and it becomes better for him. And if something harmful befalls him he is patient (Saabir) and it becomes better for him. And this is only for the Mu’mmin.” [Muslim]
And after death, only those who believed in God and stayed on his path shall be successful. Someone might be good all their life but if their intention was not for God, then they really wanted the world, and God will give them the world but nothing in the hereafter. They have missed out on the purpose of Life but for those who believed and wanted the pleasure of God, for them is the reward everlasting.

We live in a fallen and imperfect world, our bodies are very frail and there are simply some things we will never understand because "our thoughts are not His thoughts and our ways are not His ways"; therefore, all we can do is pray and trust God to answer our prayers in a manner that will honor Him and bless us.
By the way, the Bible tells us that "God is not the author of confusion".

My dear, it's called free will, which we humans have openly abused. And for the dying and suffering, that is the cause of original sin, the first sin committed in the garden of eden, by the first people. It is apart of life, and I'm sorry it is that way also. God doesn't let them die, but he cannot step into our free will. He promised us that, and doesn't back down from his promises. God bless!

Hello, check this out-
"Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness countenance the heart is made better. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning: but the heart of fools is in the heart of mirth. It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools. Better is the end of a thing then the beginning thereof: and the patient in spiritis better then the proud in spirit. Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry; for anger resteth in the bosom of fools. Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise; why shouldest thou destroy thyself?" Ecclesiastes 7-8

From the beginning to the end of the Bible, the book of your faith, God has increasingly NOT shown up. From the beginning when man had every need tended, to now when we must take care of ourselves, we see the hand of a parent.
Some of us aren't willing to grow up. We blame God for everything we do to ourselves and others. We expect God to take care of us when we are adults, as a species.
He does help, but if he shows his hand, if he shows that he will help openly, we will NEVER mature as a species. We will continue to beg from our parent's hand until we are old.
Sometimes a parent has to be willing to say, "No, you are an adult, now. You are on your own."
He's made that clear to us as a species.
Time to grow up.

Mama the Devil has power too, he made all those deases and sometimes when you see good people sick is because the Devil attacks them to get them away from God, and people only live the time needed, when they fufill their porpuse in life, they die to join God...
