A slow transition may be a good idea instead of jumping into a new lifestyle. Run 5 minutes today and increase to 10 tomorow and so on. After the first hill, it should get easier as you get used to the changes you have made. Good luck!

It is okay to eat cookies, its the amount of cookies you eat. Each package gives you the how many cookies are worth how many calories. Some have 2 or 3 cookies. Eat that amount only, At least you took time to run. you must make it a point of telling yourself "why" you are changing your lifestyle. Hopefully your change of lifestyle is for you. Good luck it takes time. Your lifestyle will be what you make it to be. Remember to drink 8-10 glasses of water per day.

well...you can't just all of a sudden start a new life style..you have to start slow. If you can only run for 5 minutes right now that's fine, just work your way up. Tomorrow try six minutes, the next day try 7 etc...Also the same for eating habits. Try only snacking on unhealthy and fattening things like 2 times a day. and eventually just cut out all that sort of stuff. But have a day like Friday or something where your allowed to have one unhealthy food item...and good luck/!

Understand, you dont have to workout everyday. But your nutrition is the most important. eat small amounts, but in different periods of the day. if you're running walk for the first 5 mins, then jog for 5, walk for 5 and repeat for as much as you can hold. do this every monday wed, and fry. but if you want to hit the weights or show a little pack, then do the crunches or weights BEFORE running. it doesn't feell good went your blood is running high and your clunching your muscles. so there it is. it should give you results after 27 days

How old are you?
ANY lifestyle change takes time - just like anything else. What did you expect from day one? Did you think that you'll decide one day to be healthy AND THEN (poooff!) everything's perfect and just falls right into place - - you eat perfect and then you are a marathon runner suddenly? Baby steps, my dear just when you were learning how to walk - - UNLESS you are one of those as a baby decided to walk AND JUST GOT up and began to run - - I DON'T THINK SO. You walked one step and you fall (you ate a cookie) - BIG DEAL - that never stopped you from wanting to walk - - you got up and kept walking again and again. I don't think you whined - you're determined. KEEP THAT SAME DETERMINATION!
1) BIG DEAL - you ate A cookie! How many cookies and sugars do you usually consume in one day? Maybe a lot more than ONE cookie a day? You're too hard on yourself!
2) Great that you're starting to exercise! WHY (in God's green earth) will you start RUNNING right away?!?!? Start slow - - WALK for 20 minutes - - then a few days later add 1 to 2 more minutes. When you hit 30 minutes of walking daily - - change it 30 minutes of BRISK walking. Start slow! When you get comfortable with brisk walks for one whole week. Then change to jogging THEN after jogging for ONE to TWO WEEKS - - then go to 15 minutes jogging and 15 minutes running and then 5-10 minute walking to slow down you heart rate for cooling down period. Each day you add 1 to 2 minutes to your walk AND THEN change to brisk walking AND THEN change to jogging AND THEN on to RUNNING - - - you will be rejoicing because each week is a milestone - - you are improving and progressing to a faster and better you.
When you start as crazy as you did - - you will be frustrated and give up right away BECAUSE just like everyone else - - - you want everything to happen instantly. We have become such a NOW and whiney society - - we want instant gratification - - and that's why so many fail - - because we can't have it in the next two days, we just give up and say it's too hard! Well - it's NOT too hard, it is just that WE ARE NO LONGER WILLING TO PUT MORE TIME AND EFFORT INTO ANYTHING - - we want instant gratification! We need to snap out of this mode! That's why there are soo many OBESE and FAT people walking around - - I was one of them!

Dieting is NOT easy. We think we can be lazy (not exercise) and eat like crazy FOR YEARS - - AND then one day we decide to be healthy AND we think we'll drop it all in ONE DAY! I am so sorry to say this BUT THIS IS SUCH A STUPID WAY OF THINKING! YOU WILL have to deal with sugar and carb cravings ESPECIALLY since you have NOT been feeding your body the RIGHT KIND of foods for some time.

You need something that will:
1) help you with the sugar & carb cravings.
2) help kickstart your metabolism and give you energy WITHOUT the jitters (Ephedra is BAD).
3) help preserve your muscle mass as you lose weight.
4) balance your serotonin level because dieting can be a stressful process (you're changing your eating habits and beginning exercise routine) - - it will be a bit stressful for your body!
5) help RE-TRAIN your body to eat better.
6) NOT give you any sense of deprivation. You will eat less BY YOUR CHOICE and NEVER because you can not have it.

If you are over 18 yrs old, you MUST check this out - - this will help DO ALL THE ABOVE! My 49 yr old husband lost 28 pounds - went from size 42 to size 36 in FIVE MONTHS and continues to lose weight! He uses a fat loss PATCH. He now eats healthier! He still has cookies, ice cream and pizza BUT WAY less than what he used to eat. (Eating cookies is not bad - - it is always how much of it!) - - BIG DEAL that you ate ONE cookie - - my husband USED TO be able to eat half a box of girl scout cookies - - now THAT is HARD!
I'm 43, did NOT lose as much as he did BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I went from size 12 down to size 8 also in FIVE MONTHS! I also still have my ice cream and my root beer float - - - way less of it BY MY OWN CHOICE! I use the pill form (Fat Burner) which I take ONLY in the morning with my breakfast and my vitamins - - AND the effects last for 24 hours. The ingredients in both the patch and pills are all natural herbs.

Now this will be something that will help you! I hope you check it out! http://www.radicalpatch.com
