What device can I purchase so i can record what is playing on my TV so then I can transfer it to my PC??

I want a device that will let me save what is playing on TV so then I can transfer it to my PC....any ideas what device to get?

Skip the middleman and record directly to your PC!
You will need a TV tuner for your PC.

A girlfriend of mine had a device called "Zipshot" that was designed for just that type of recording.
