No it's weather or not the tax is used for the right things is weather or not taking the tax in the first place was greedy and if you are only collecting the tax as a job well every1 knows they have to pay tax so it's not your problem they didn't and you have to go and make collections......it's there problem for not abiding by the law in the first place...

No, it's a thankless job. A tax collector doesn't get any extra pay for collecting x amount of taxes, he or she just gets their regular pay, along with a lot of crap from some taxpayers who don't understand the need.
