3) Small contractions... I had the same thing and when I got to the hospital and they put me on the monitors, the nurse said, your having a contraction.. I said ohhh thats what that pain is?? haha :)
4)No.. I was induced.
5)Well since I was induced they broke my water when I was dilated to around 3-5, I don't remember, Sorry!

I never lost my mucas plug or had a bloody show. I was 2 weeks early with both my boys. With my first my husband and I went for a rough ride in his old truck and then had sex and went home and went to bed. 4 hours later I woke up to go to the bathroom and my water had broke! My second I tried everything you could imagine and nothing. I ended up being enduced with him. I was only dialated to a 1 with the first and almost 60% effaced. My second was about the same, I was plenty effaced and not to much progress in the dialtion side..Your cramping could be part of the baby dropping and getting ready. Sometimes women have slight contractions that dont really bother then for a few weeks before. I did not have any signs with my first other than my water broke. My second one I had to get my water broke.

1. I never did lose my mucus plug or had a bloody show.
2. My son cane 6 hours before his due date.
3. That sounds like a pain I had. I figured it was my son stretching and squishing my bladder in the process.
4. I had Braxton Hicks contractions for a couple of weeks before I went into real labor.
5. I was dialated to a five, usually the norm before they will admit you. I think I was at least 50% effaced. My doctor broke my water.

1.)You can lose your mucus plug a week or two before you go into labor or the day you go into labor everyoneis diffrent. And it might not have blood in it with my second it just looked like snot.
2.)I'v never heard of anyone haveing there baby on there due date. Your due date is just an educated guess. My first came a month an a half early.
3.)The cramping your feeling in between your legs and lower belly are normal that just the baby getting into position.
4.)Some women have cramping that might fell like there about to start there period.
5.)Well with my first i was 1cm dialtaed and 50% thinned out but she was a premuter baby. My second i was 3cm and my third I was 2 cm
I hope this helps good luck and congrads on the up comeing baby.

I had backpain 1st. No mucous plug or waters breaking. I had contstant pain, it felt like food poisoning and I just felt like I kept needing to go to the toilet but was constipated... I went to the hospital straight away because I woke early in the morning with the constant pain, it wouldn't come and go & I'd heard that that was not normal and to go straight to hospital if that happend. If the pains are coming and going, everything is normal : ) Goodluck, Have a Merry Delivery!

my cervix wasn't softening or dilating on its own. i had to be induced a day before my due date because of the amniotic fluid not being as plentiful as it should have been but there isn't much room in there anyway. i was induced at 7 in the morning and had light cramping and got sent home at noon. my cramps got worse and were regular but i was told they weren't the "real" thing but my doctor had me go into his office at about 2 to get checked out and i was dilated barley at all! i told him my cramps hurt so bad i cried but they sent me home again. we went to meijer for a prescription and I could barely walk it hurt so bad! i sat down during a "cramp" and felt a weird pop feeling that i didn't think anything of. i got up and it felt like i was peeing and i tried to get to the bathroom as fast as I could...having to stop though when i had a bad cramp because it was incredibly painful. I sat on the toilet and saw that my pee wasn't pee so we rushed to the hospital during rush hour. I got there at I was 6 cm dilated and 2 hours later i pushed my son out after 30 minutes of pushing. That goes to show that nurses and doctors can be stupid and tell you that you aren't really having contractions but really are and you believe them because you have no idea what labor feels like and are thinking to yourself "if this isn't the real thing then I won't be able to handle real labor AT ALL!!"
every labor is different so be open to anything!

The best for you is to inquire about those problems which you are asking to the nurse or physician or directly to a pregnancy clinic.
