Go out with him and see what's going on his father might be trying to fix him up with somebody else or his girlfriend might be chatting with you because she's about to get dumped!

Talk to him (the boyfriend). It could be that the Dad was out of date, and the other relationship was over, but he just didn't confide in his Dad. After all did you tell your parents everything? Or wishful thinking on the part of the father, or a misunderstanding (she just could be a female friend).
Even if its true you should talk to him, to be certain. That's if you are interested in him. Not much point otherwise.

Well think of it as having everyone's feelings in consideration.If you were this other girl how would u feel..and u are that other girl until you are sure things had ended with them.I think u should first and foremost fid out their status. Go from there... are they breaking up ?Did he suddenly fall for u ?and does he mean it ?Make sure if he says he has he proves it to u in the way of honesty.Good luck

Whatever you want to. Ask him how you should feel because he already has a girlfriend. Tell him to break it off with her first unless you want to be used.

his dad is probably an idiot and doesnt know what hes talking about. you should ask him, the dad is probably misinformed like most parents.
