At my house not much comes for a box or a can now. With the exception of pasta sauce. It isn't worth making marinara sauce for one.

I also remember Mom saying dinner is at six and I had best better have my butt in a chair at the table when six o'clock rolled around LOL>

No - there were two things on a stick- the other was a corn dog at the fair, but that was special.

More and more I find that it's fun and flavorful to cook from scratch.

I still cook nearly everything from scratch for my family - my kids think that baked beans or 2 minute noodles are a really cool treat because they don't get food from packets or cans.
