This started out just under my left nipple, but i have found that it has gone to my right too. Im 13 years old, if that affects anything. I thought either puberty or im just growing...but it is scaring me slightly with the thoughts of cancer lol. The left used to be huge, but it has gone down a bit. The right is now GIANT, and seems to still be growing. The left has pretty much stayed the same for a few weeks. Ive had this thing for like a month or two.

I would definitely go to a doctor and have yourself checked out it could be serious. You should get a mammogram done as soon as possible.

is it on the skin or under the skin??

I had fibroids when I was a teenager, it felt like a squooshy blob under the skin. They would change shapes, I went to the doc and had to get off caffiene. they went away.
The important thing to remember is that your body is changing fast right now, if you are truly bothered by this, talk to your mom. If you don't have a mom, or can't talk to yours, can you talk to your best friend's mom?? The point is, if you are very concerned about this, the safe thing to do would be to have a female, who has been through this growing stage before to take a look and if it raises their concern, then go to a dr.

Good luck and I hope you find someone you can ask in person about this.

i have had benign cysts at your age but defintely make a appointment with your gynecologist to have her check it out for you. they do tend to vary in sizes and will change over time. usually if it moves it is not threatening but don't take the matter in your own hands. these days it's never too young to be concerned and the faster you catch things the better. if you don't have a gyno ask your mom or a female relative for help to find one. If you aren't comfortable you can always schedule an appointment at planned parenthood i believe a check up is fairly reasonable. good luck and I hope it's nothing serious.

They are most likely swollen lymph nodes. You have them throughout your body. They are there to help filter bad bacteria and viruses through your body. They are around 500-700 in your body. They are benieth your jaw bone, in your armpits, in your chest, in your legs, they are everywhere. They are most likely lymph nodes. If the "blob" seems to be connected to your nipple,as in actually connected to the skin, it is most likely a swollen lymph node. They don't usually go down, but they might. I have some under my nipples and I am a boy. I got sick last year through spring break and they got swollen. I am 13 now.

at 13, I doubt it is cancer, it is probably just fatty tissue that is growing as you do. just ask the doctor about it when you go in for your first pap smear, which you should do soon, especially if you have started your periods. Just don't go when you are having a period because they cannot do a pap smear then.

Show this to a parent and see your doctor. You might also consider showing it to your school nurse who will contact your parents and refer you to a doctor. This maybe a lymph node caused by an infection.
