I get nose bleeds frequently about this time of year because of the dry weather. I also tend to get congested with a runny nose. I've read that saline nasal spray will moisturize. Does this mean it will help prevent nosebleeds due to dry weather? My humidifier and Vaseline help, but I hate getting caught with an annoying nosebleed that slips through here and there.

I have the same problem, and use the 4-Way menthol saline solution. It does keep my nose moist and not so dry. I guess it does keep nostrils from drying and bleeding. I use the Vick's salve at night too. I've tried the regular nose spray it only made my nose have sharp pains and it is addicting so don't use that!

the doctor prescribed saline spray for me when I had nosebleeds- it kept the inside of my nose from getting really dry and irritated therefore preventing nosebleeds.
Saline spray is really good as it moisturizes and there are no negative side effects or addicting qualities.
I recommend saline spray if you are getting nosebleeds often in dry weather

Nasal Gel works better ,cause it stays inside your nose and don't run down the back of your throat! It keeps the nose moist at night and that does help!
