Can somebody please provide examples of faith from the Bible?

Read Hebrews chapter 11. It is filled with examples of faith from throughout the bible.

Noah - it took him about 100 years to build the ark in a place that barely got any rain. How the other people would have laughed and mocked, but Noah obeyed God and was saved (with his family) from the flood.

Abraham and Sarah - very old before they had the son God promised. They faltered along the way, but Abraham believed in God's promise of being a father of nations and Isaac was born to Sarah long after she believed she would have been able to conceive.

Joseph - hung onto God and was mightily blessed after being sold as a slave by his brothers. He became a leader in Egypt after being a slave and was able to rescue his family when the famines struck.

David - he killed Goliath when he was only a boy with a stone and a sling. The Israelite army were too afraid to face this giant, but David had faith that God would be with him.

Job - was faithful to God through the good times and the bad. He lost everything (family, flocks, wealth, health) and remained faithful through a long time of testing and even his friends lost faith and questioned his unswerving loyalty to God. In the end, God restored his health and he had a larger amount of wealth, family, flocks. It is worth reading the book of Job (even just the last chapters) to see his example of faith.

There are so many examples. These are a few of the obvious ones to me. Hope this helps.

The whole Bible is about Faith. Faith comes by hearing and believing the Word of God. I don't have my Bible with me right now to look it up, sorry.
