Scriptures that describe Jesus "at the right hand of God" clearly show Jesus as a separate person from God Himself.
Here are some other scriptures that show Jesus as a separate person from God:
1 Cor. 11:3 says, " But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ." (NASB)
In John 17:1-3, Jesus said:
"Father....This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."
"And Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.'" - Mark 10:18 (RSV)
(Jesus isn't God not only because Jesus is talking here ABOUT someone else (God), but says that this someone else (God) exhibits this quality far greater than Jesus.)
"Believe in God, believe ALSO in me." - John 14:1 (RSV)

He can't be. A son and father cannot be one person.
Its a legitimate questions and deserves a legitimate answer.
None of this quoting the Bible nonsense.
People who believe it because the Bible says so and say it's 'simple', ARE simple.
That's just an excuse they give to justify the fact that they have a false idol. Instead of worshipping God, they worship his son. They say whatever is necessary to justify their position at that moment.

The heart of God is the father
The face of God is the son Jesus
The voice of God is the Holy Spirit
The hand of God is the Church
It is also true that they are all of one...
The first three anyways...
Jesus Christ created as the son, for more than one reason...
Since God at the throne is so powerful and full of glory, God created Jesus so that he can come out to us as man, that we're able to bare him as man. God comes out as man, leaving all that power and glory at the throne, or else we would fall to the ground, becoming weak, not able to withstand the glory of God.

I know that the Trinity is one of the hardest things to understand. To tell you the truth, I don't really get it either. But someone once told me that the Trinity is like a triangle. The three points are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So, they're all one triangle, but they're still next to each other... if that makes sense.
The truth is, we humans just are not smart enough to get a lot of things about God. But that's ok, because he's God, and I don't need to get everything about him.

This question is dealing with the Blessed Trinity. Three persons in one God. It is a very advanced concept even the most devout Catholics don't understand. God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

That's a really good question and shows you use logic in your outlook to scripture and religion. The obvious answer
He's not god! - Excellent! :-)
In fact it's blasphemy to call a created being god, so anyone saying he is god, blasphemes.
Jesus himself prayed to God (praying to himself would have been insanity) and he even said his father is greater than he was (John 14:28).
So, you are right to ask, and right to reason, and the (actual) simple answer is: He is who he said he was, God's son, and not god himself.

Because God the Father and his Son Jesus (also a God) are two different people.
John 10
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Christian faith is full of double meanings and such.
Jesus praying to god means that he is either skizophrenic (idk how to spell) or he is not god.
did you know that until constantine sat down and created the church that jesus was not considered a God like being at all.
It was in the 300Ad that the bible was assembled and Jesus was deifyed, this was the creation of the roman catholic church.

The Father, the son & the holy spirit are all one. The Holy Trinity.
PKHBONN, if you read this...........your mind is very open. if you would open your heart a little more and read a little more about the Trinity, you will get it. you obviously have the spirit in you.

Because X=Y,
And Y /= X.
And X+Y+Z = X , except Y>0 and Z>0 and X>0.
