lithium has a very narrow therapeutic range.too much is toxic and too little does no good.
be sure to stay on the prescribed dose and do all your lab tests on time and you'll be fine.
take it seriously.

It is possible it could kill you, if you did not have a doctor to help get you to the dosing limits correctly. While I take a lot of other meds than the ones you mention, I know that they have to increase doses slowly to prevent any bad reacticons.
The 300 to 600 level was probably well thought out by your doctor as to how to get you to a good clinical level of lithium without getting too much to fast. As they increase your dosage you will have a few days where you will have to get used to the drugs intensity, as you get used to that dose you will not usually have the side effects.
Seeing you are being seen by a doctor and a pharmacist is filling the prescription and both know the medications that you are on, you can feel safe about the drug not killing you.

You are on a lot of medication but are under a Dr's care. She is slowly increasing your lithium as she should. Should you start feeling very sleepy etc. call your Dr. and tell her.

No, but not taking the medication as it is prescribed can cause serious problems. Follow the Dr.'s directions.
