If I were to write down a story about a magician who was a little crazy- and embellish it a whole lot and then claim that hundreds of witnesses saw it too - and put that in my story, and then get three other people to write the exact same story in a kind of competition - then later, a man who never even knew my main character would also be kinda crazy and get the idea that this story should be really believed -

If all the original writings of my stories were lost, but some copies were found and then a big religious group got them and selected the "best" parts and then threw out over 60% of other accounts within the story and then added to them,

Would that make my story really become true?

congratulations. You have succeeded in offending strangers while hiding behind a false identity.
Bravo!

If you are anti religious why are you in this category? Does it make your day better to bash what you don't believe in instead of asking real questions where others could help you with an actual answer. Find other hobby. Or maybe get some exercise to help relieve your stress. have a great night!

No. But if there really WERE real, human witnesses....and if you could somehow persuade those witnesses to give themselves over to excruciatingly horrible deaths in various and sundry parts the known world for merely sticking to that story...and all they would have had to do was deny the story and live....then, you might be on to something.

No, because in the first sentence you said you made it up.

if you are implying that the Bible wasn't true, just because these are some of the facts surrounding it, than you are seriously using false logic.

Those facts which you mention are not how it became true. Those facts are how it came into existance. Be cause God said so is how it became true.

True stories are true.

No, but it would make your "story" eerily similar to the bible.
