Certainly some Jews came from Egyptians..the Hebrews were in Egypt 400 years and many Jews also were in Egypt until fairly recent history.

Ever hear of the Cairo Genizah?

Now..I think what someone else was referring to was the idea that the Hebrews borrowed from the religion of Amenophis the IV who later changed his name to Ahkenaten to reflect his notion of Aten being the supreme deity, the one god of all, Aton represented by the disc of the sun and meaning light beyond the sun. Ahkenaten was a representative of Aten on earth and his religion was deemed heretical by all the powerful preists of the royalty that preceeded him. His more famous nephew Tutenkamen's advisors saw to the elimination of the religion that was only to have a minor foothold in the annals of Egyptian history.

There are a few similarities but it would be difficult to ascertain if Ahkenaten wasn't influenced by the Hebrews or vice versa in their concept of one God. I think it isn't beyond the realm of possibility there were influences, but they were not the same culture.

Avraham was born in Ur( in what is now southern Iraq) and was promised that his descendents would inhabit the land we know as Israel..the Hebrews became a people/nation in Caanan, Jacob became known as Israel, his tribes grew and his children came into Egypt, they were then enslaved, and after 400 years of habitation, then left to reinhabit their land of origin and from there they grew and were influenced as well by the cultures that contacted theirs.

All the while, remaining a distinct people.

Am Yisrael Chai!

The old ruling class of Egyptians, the first Pharaohs, were Semites. Semites are thus called because they descended from Noah's son Shem. The group also includes Jews, along with Arabs, Amorites, Moabites, Edomites, Ammonites, Phoenicians, and some ancient Ethiopians (back then it was called Cush).

Antiquities of the Jews by Flavius Josephus
Book I, Chapter 6

4. Shem, the third son of Noah, had five sons, who inhabited the land that began at Euphrates, and reached to the Indian Ocean. For Elam left behind him the Elamites, the ancestors of the Persians. Ashur lived at the city Nineve; and named his subjects Assyrians, who became the most fortunate nation, beyond others. Arphaxad named the Arphaxadites, who are now called Chaldeans. Aram had the Aramites, which the Greeks called Syrians; as Laud founded the Laudites, which are now called Lydians. Of the four sons of Aram, Uz founded Trachonitis and Damascus: this country lies between Palestine and Celesyria. Ul founded Armenia; and Gather the Bactrians; and Mesa the Mesaneans; it is now called Charax Spasini. Sala was the son of Arphaxad; and his son was Heber, from whom they originally called the Jews Hebrews.

NO.
Jacob and his family (all Jews) went down to Egypt, where they prospered and multiplied. Their descendants were then enslaved by the Egyptians.
It is in the book of Genesis.

Jews lived among many cultures and borrowed the best from all of them to create their own culture. They acquired much of the Babylonian culture during exile there in the 5th century BCE.

No. The Jews came from the area of present day Israel. They fled into Egypt at one time and became slaves, then eventually migrated back to their homeland, were eventually conquered by the Bablyonians and dragged off, and eventually scattered across the region.
