I'm eating the soup right now and it's hot. Would extra salt help??

a pinch or two of sugar will help to balance the heat, and cream will calm it down too. hope this helps.

Make a second batch of soup without ANY pepper and add to it. There really is no remedy for too much pepper.

You can drink milk w/ it, however... that will cool the burn.

Depending on how finely ground the pepper is, by stirring it, the pepper should sink to the bottom of the bowl. Just leave that part and not eat it.

u could take it out or make new soup but just to make it easier eat it because after time all the pepper will sink....but personally i like a lot of pepper!!!
