You mean New Testament.
It commands no hate to any child of God.
It commands hate for the sin and hate of the evil one.

The new covenent teaches us to LOVE gays, and we (christians) definitely can improve on obeying that command.

EDIT: trovalta: where did paul say to hate gays? and the slavery quote you've attributed to him? I've read Paul's epistles at least 20 times each and never seen either of those.

The book of Jude says to hate even the clothes they ware.

They are talking about hypocrites and how they are compared to having the same punishment of those of Sodom and Gomorrah.

We still pray for those living blindly in sin.

It Doesn't!

Jesus Himself said;

Matthew 5:43-48 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

Love for Enemies
43"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.' 44But I tell you: Love your enemies[b] and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

ANY BELIEVER THAT SAYS THAT THEY HATE GAYS, IS NOT FOLLOWING WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES! PERIOD!

Jesus NEVER said to hate ANYONE, nor did HE EVER hate anyone!

neither should we!

Nowhere does it say to hate gays! Christians, people, whoever do are wrong. It does say how it is perverted (backwards) from original intention. God destroyed a whole city because of their perverted sexual acts. Sodom and Gomorrah.

No where at all. There ARE strict GUIDELINES against homosexuality in scripture, but there is NO place in the scripture God says to HATE any one.

We can hate the sin, but NOT the person. We are all created in God's image. God loves all us of . We do NOT have to love the SIN one commits.

Well, if Jesus didn't tackle it, I'd better. Gays are ok, cause God loves all his children and your souls have no gender. So there. I think God is just trying to limit the population so he is mixing it up with emotions. lol I don't know. All I know is my gay cousin is my best friend.

It doesn't appear in the gospel of Jesus. It does, however, appear in the words of Paul.

Paul says gays are going to burn in hell. However, he also said that anybody who is against slavery knows nothing about God and only wants to cause trouble.

It doesn't. We are to love all mankind as God loves all of us. God hates the sin not the sinner-which includes all of us. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

NOWHERE, my friend. The Bible tells us not to hate anyone. If you read it you would see that for yourself.

We are to love everyone..........and pray for those who do not llike us. And pray for those who do not follow the Lord.
