i went to superpets and bought zodiac on spot meds for my 2 cats and 6mo old puppy, the ingredients labels were the same for both items- is it safe to assume they will work the same?

I have used Bio Spot for more than 12 years. I have 3 dogs of my own and I've had many rescues in my home.
Bio Spot works! Period! I do not see fleas or ticks on my dogs, ever!

Bio spot and Zodiac are known for adverse reactions that can be life threatening.
It is not safe or effective.
It has been tested and it has failed to be effective as it claims.
Knowing this I hope you will choose to return the product and use that money towards a product that is proven safe and effective.

Effective flea control with frontline, advantage, revolution is about 15 dollars a month. Purchased through a vet it will run you about 50 dollars .Keeping in ,mind it is cheaper than treating an infested pet and its environment.

You should also buy your heartworm and flea protection from your vet.
Vets receive the product straight from the manufacturer.
From un-licensed pharmacies to bootlegged products buying elsewhere is a risk not to be taken.
You really can not know what your giving or putting on your pet if it was purchased at a pet store or on line.
Why does it cost more from your vet?
It is guaranteed by the manufacturer
because it comes directly from the manufacturer.

Crap vs crap basically. It's safe to assume neither will work!!

Nothing you can buy in a pet store will work, this is a sad fact. Pet stores aren't licensed to sell the proper chemicals for flea treatment - anything you find in store is just going to be a basic pesticide that you can't expect to work. Many are also unsafe, so really I'd advise trying to get your money back!! It's shocking really that stores are allowed to sell this stuff and fool people into thinking it works - but they are.

Please get a proper flea treatment from a vet, i.e Frontline, Revolution or Advantage. You will see the ingredients of these are quite different - they're specially formulated to be safe for application to animals, but be deadly to fleas. Unlike cheap pet store crap.

Yes, they will both work like crap!!!!!!! Cheap and sometimes veru UNSAFE junk that doesn't even get rid of fleas.
Should have spent a little extra for Advantage or Frontline.

Please don't use those products on your pets....they are toxic compounds and can make them sick. Take them back and get Advantage or Frontline instead--they are NON toxic and much more effective.
