i have medium length hair... that is dirty blonde. my hair hits my shoulders...not a regular bun but a messy one..lol

Messy Bun
· Start by applying a small amount of styling gel to slightly damp hair.
· Pull hair into a high ponytail, just at the crown of the head and secure using a ponytail holder.
· Next, divide hair into three sections and twist each section into a spiral style.
· Bring the spiraled section back towards the base of the ponytail and pin it to the base.
· Carefully tease any individual hairs using a comb and spray with a holding spray to finish this look.

Make a ponytail more elegant by wrapping a section of hair around the elastic & securing it w/ a pin to conceal it. You can also section the ponytail and curl each section loosely to add more interest.

I have the same hair type. I love the get out of the shower brush my hair and then run my fingers through in making it messy. Then I wait for it to half way dry and then put it up in a messy bun. Even when you take it down you'll have homemade curls. Very cute.

Take a hair elastic and like doing a ponytail on the third wrap-around slip your hair under the elastic.

if you really want it messy first back comb it a little at the top gather you hair into a loose ponytail at the nape of your neck grab another pony and fold your hair in and put it in a ponytail

wel first pot your hair into a regualr pony tail, then you just twirl it round your fingers and just scruntch it up in your hands and tie it up :)!
