Yeah, good hunter indeed. Your also a responsible "wildlife" manager, helping the Earth keep her natural balance of rodents. Pat yourself on the back!
My wife inherited an old house and it was full of little furry things. She came home from the Home store with "humane" traps that involved a tray of some sticky mess. We set out 6 and went home, to return the next day and find 7 trapped mice all still very much alive but completly glued to the plastic trays. (Now, how "humane" is that I ask you? Poor things were stressed out to the max) I quickly put the little guys down in a bucket of water.
She got the old fashioned snap traps next, the ones that do a good job quickly, with minimal stress on both parties. We got six more the next night using peanut butter.
What bait are you using?

My cheap boss finally broke down and bought some snap mouse traps today. When I left, he was up to 16!
He is all worried because I told him he was one over his daily limit!
Now you can skin them. They make great little earmuffs, take a small ornament, glue it to their tail, and you got some great Christmas presents for the gals in your life!
You heap good hunter!

Using a mouse trap is not hunting! Try catching them with a small fish keepers net on the end of a broom handle.
Or shooting them with a blow pipe fashioned from an old biro tube with darts made from 30mm nails with budgie down stuck to the end.
Then you can call yourself a hunter.
Or better still call an exterminator.

My cat has an even better method of hunting. Today she bought her first mouse into the kitchen to play with it. I think she was confused as to why I was laughing so much. It was dead and stuck to a glue trap. She must have 'hunted' it in someone else's house!

By god, you've found the herd!
Have you considered staking out thay spot with a bb gun and trying your luck that way? Talk about feeling like a big-game hunter! (Yes, that's the voice of experience talking. Been there, done that.)
Anyway, congrats.
I'm familiar with the sense of accomplishment you are experiencing.
Snap!
