Hi there,
We're having a big family Christmas, and it's my little cousin's birthday Christmas Eve.
I want to make sure her day is special, so does any one have any ideas for a special gift, or just general things that are 'in style' right now for 14yr girl? [13 turning 14].
She's girly, but very sporty. Has a lot of brothers, so kind of craves 'girl time'.
We're planning a 'girls day out' on her birthday to go shopping and out for 'tea' [with gma, aunt, cousin, mom, etc]. We won't be anywhere near her hometown to invite her friends.
I know she's excited... but do you have any additional ideas/tips for me?

One possible problem with suggestions may be the fact that I live in Canada, and she lives in the US. [we don't always have the same stores or visa pre-paid cards]

Take her for a makeover, hair, nails, and etc. Give her a visa gift card so she can get what she wants or find out what her favorite clothing store is and go buy her a really cute outfit from there. I know Abercombie and Finch is popular or American Eagle or Limited Too.

Well, it depends on your budget! I would recommend a i-pod, clothing store gift cards, i-tunes gift cards, arts and crafts, a purse, cute sunglasses, spa day!!!! Umm... perfume, accessories, shoes, clothes, money, computer games, video games, etc.!!!!

If she wants girly time, how about an afternoon at the spa together? She would feel so grown up.

I found that with teenagers.. Giftcards, Giftcards, Giftcards!! never go wrong. Plus she will be shopping the next day anyway with you guys!! Good Luck!
