I would suggest going to your Family Doctor first and advise him of all your symptoms. Let him run the appropriate tests---which include blood work. This will rule out any medical condition that you may have. There are loads of medical conditions that can bring on some of the symptoms that you describe..some include;
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)Hypothyroidism, Hormone Imbalance even a stubborn virus can run havoc on your system.

If everything comes back ok and you are still feeling this way, you may want to seek out treatment from a psychiatrist. He/She will probably start you on a course of anti-depressants.

But, I do urge you to get a full physical to rule out anything Metobolic.

Good Luck

Symptoms of depression can show up in many different ways, and it also sounds like a bit of an anxiety problem. You already know you need to seek medical help so quit putting it off and go. Good luck.

Depression and stress go hand-in-hand. As a fellow sufferer of both, I highly recommend you talk to your regular doctor. Tell him/her EVERYTHING. That'll help your doctor decide which medication is best for you.

Believe me, you owe it to yourself. It'll change your life, ALL for the better!! :)

The only way to diagnose your problem is by a professional. No one on this site can correctly diagnose you.

A doctor would be an excellent idea. 5 months is long enough.
