i know what science has "revealed" and i know there's little to know scientific proof of God...but i know deep down in my heart that Christ is the way, even though the world is constantly telling me otherwise. is this weird? do other Christians feel the same.

Logic tells us that we do not just believe people who presume to know what transpired during the time when they were not yet born! You may listen to them and try to understand why they need to articulate on things they have in their imagination. Or, they may relay some hidden truth in what they're trying to say - discern well.

Listen to what your heart says. From the wisdom that dwells in your center, sincerely desire that God reveal Himself to you as He really is and not what others may just tell you.

Do you have joy deep down in your heart? Do you have a peace way down deep in your Heart? Is that Love for what Jesus did for you down in your Heart? If it is you have been saved and you know it. The world cannot take it from you. Our world is collapsing around us. Violence is everywhere. But we who are Born Again have peace even though we live in a war zone, just keep contending for the faith, now if you don't feel those things in your heart then you need to talk to your Pastor or send me an email and I will be glad to share with you they way I got saved and Born Again, without Jesus, we don't stand a chance in this world. The Cross at Calvery set us free, every time I see a cross it reminds me of Jesus, and he set me free and saved my Soul, Glory to God!!

I am Christian and a mathematician/scientist.

I have faith in Christ...AND...logic supports my belief.

It all depends on what questions are asked.

no it's not weird.
it is very easy to get pulled into the idea that if it's not explainable then it can't be, especially if you're in the academic world (college, etc)

you just have to faith!!

This is not weird. It is progress. It is likened to, "coming out from among them."
