My cousin has asthma and wants to start smoking with me, should she?

Thanks to everyone for telling me not to do it but I was a smoker when I was 16 and quit when I turned 18. Now I am 21 and I know it is bad but I like it. I recently found out my asthmatic cousin has been smoking since she was 14, she is now 18.

are u joking. Knock your self out and when you wake up, through away all ideas of smoking. It is addicting and causes lung cancer. Especially if you have asthma, you shouldn't even think about cigaretts. You should smack youself

No way! She should not smoke at all. All cigarettes are harmful no matter how much nicotine it has. Cigarettes not only have nicotine, but embalming fluid...that is the stuff they put in dead people to preserve there bodies for the showing. There are so many other chemicals in cigarettes other then nicotine that are just as harmful if not more. If she has a lung disease as you state, she should never smoke. She will regret starting. Cigarette smoking is not only physically adictive, but mentally adictive as well. It is better not even to start.

There are no cigraettes out there with the description supplied. DON'T SMOKE, unless you want bad health for the rest of your life.

I would say do not smoke. If you must try one cigarette to get it out of your system ok but don't make it a habit.

I have asthma and I smoked for a year. Bad choice I made and I recommend you do not let your cousin make the same mistake. It'll make everything worse.

What you mean "what cigarette is the best to start with and how much do they cost"? You obviously are into trying new and bad things cigarettes are a bad dirty habit and it's hard to break that habit. I don't smoke because of all the chemicals that are in cigs. I never smoked a cigarette a day in my life. I don't think you should start

The best way to quit smoking, is not to start.

There is no "safe" cigarette, and low muck is still muck.

As for a cousin with Asthma, even smoking near them would not be a good idea.

you are both fools if you start smoking, there is no such thing as a safe cigarette, they will cause cause you harm, they will all cause you addiction that will be incredibly hard to quit later, and often the damage is done before you can quit. So the best thing is to not smoke at all. If your cousin has asthma and starts smoking it could kill her.

Usually when you begin smoking, you cannot quit at any time. It is said that cigarettes are more addictive than cocaine. I've been smoking since I was 17 and wish I had never started.

Some things to think about, other than lung cancer:

Cigarette smoke stinks, so you will too.
Cigarettes yellow your teeth.
Cigarettes can contribute to gum disease (one of the main reasons why people lose their teeth) and cause cancer of the mouth.
Cigarettes cause you to age faster ... you get wrinkles earlier when you smoke.
They can cause yellow stains on your fingers, so your hands aren't as attractive.
It's easy to burn holes in your clothes.

theres no such thing as a cigarette you can quit anytime...the best way to go is to not even start...either one of you!!! I've smoked for over 7 years and I just recentlly quit. I cant imagine why anyone would WANT to start. Its an awful and expensive habit. Just don't do it!! :)
