My husband works on a base and can switch to another base with the same pay. I want to find a base that is near affordable homes and more affordable living but still in a decent neighborhood. Is there a site with all us bases? Any other site suggestions??

This is for a civilian family, not a military family.

My dh has a civi job so we can't use base housing. I truly appreciate all the help I can get.

Military or civilian? will this move be paid for?

Military personnel get BAH, civilians do not.

try One Stop. each Branch has one.

Here is a website where you can see how much BAH is depending on the zip code: http://perdiem.hqda.pentagon.mil/perdiem/bah.html

Here is a website which has the list of all the U.S. and overseas military bases separated by branch: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_military_bases

Although it doesn't list the bases, if you know the city this website lists just about every town, city and county and gives you the rundown. Great to have anyway.

yes there is. I can't remember but if you go to google and type in BAH rate zip code it will pop up. You type in the zip of the base and it gives you the rate.
