My child who is 10 came crying from school because one of her "religious" teachers said that atheists and animals burn in hell....Who the hell do these people think they are?What is wrong with the world?Stupid religious idiots "**** OFF"..

It's public.All the private schools here are catholic and I don't want my child to listen to that ****.He has the choice to choose I just don't want to scare him into being religious like these teachers do.It's stuff like this that made me an atheist........

Wow -- I'm sorry your child went through that.
If it is a Catholic teacher who did this, that teacher needs to be reported to the priest. The official teaching of the Catholic Church is that God determines who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. Nobody can say with absolute certainty more than that.

That teacher is a jerk and should be removed from teaching. The only reason why such a stupid comment is made is to scare children into believing in something that is not real.

It's one thing when one of my nun professors tells the class that if we're not Catholic we'll burn in Hell. I mean, we're adults, we can brush that off. But to a kid? That's a horse of a different color.

I don't know what kind of school your daughter is going to but there is absolutely nothing in the Bible about animals burning in hell. I recommend home-schoolng.

Err...if you are in the US and it is a public school, you probably could have the teacher fired. I would. I certainly don't think anyone that stupid is qualified to teach.
