I've repected people who were on welfare but I never thought of needing it until now. I'm getting a divorce soon and I just got interviewed for a job and I have my daughter. My husband is threatening to take my daughter from me. I need the financial help. Can someone please give me the welfare site? Thank you so much.

It should be in the blue pages of the telephone book. Often there is a registration form on the state government web page. You might also want to ammend your FAFSA form and sign up for the work study program if you are not involved now. Your marital status can't be changed for this academic year, but you can also contact the financial aid advisor and alert them of the situation. They could provide some help possibly at this time.
