These things have worked for me.
1) Retin-A or Differin gel - ask your doctor or dermatologist for a prescription; most health insurance plans cover it.
2) Benzoyl peroxide wash. e.g. PanOxyl bar or Oxy10 face wash.
3) Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask - has clay & benzoyl peroxide. Works best as a mask.
4) Spot treatment - Desert Essence Blemish Stick
5) Aveeno Positively Clear cleansing pads. These have salicylic acid so don't use them close to your eyes.

I've had really bad acne since I was 12, now finally 6 years later, I've just found a remedy.......baking soda. The same arm and hammer used for cooking, it really does work. In the beginning it might burn, you just take a pinch of soda and a part of water (just enough cuz u will notice it runs) and work into a paste. just dont rub too hard cuz like i said u have to get used to at first. hope it works out for you.

toothpaste.
i noe that sounds weird. but it works for me and i get really BAD acne. i put some toothpaste on my face and leave it for 12 hrs, like on a weekend wen ive decided to stay home.... or over night.... depending on if u tend to move around alot and the paste will come off. then wash it off with soap that has glycerin, like pears.
it works for me....good luck!
