Army Accommodation Medal, or ACM, or ARCOM.

Not be be confused with the AAM, or Army Achievement Medal...

There may be a few others like you out there. I know some of the Iraq veterans like myself were award the campaign medal for OIF well after the fact, maybe the same holds true for Afghanistan.

An Army Commendation's abbreviation is ARCOM.

ACM = Afghanistan Campaign Medal.

Someone put you in for that award. Being just below the Bronze Star (ground) and Air Medal (air) seems odd you would not be aware of it being awarded.
