Zicam did nothing for me and yes I had the same thing happen when I tried it.

I haven't experienced that but seeing that it is a homeopathic medicine, containing what would normally cause a cold, it doesn't really suprise me that you may have a symptom like that. But it seems to work wonders to shorten cold symptoms!

I have experienced that with the spray, but not with the swabs, which is why I recommend the swab.

You could be allergic to some ingredient. Talk with your doctor about it.
