IF NOT, WHO DOES?

Just like any other military in the world, the origins of their equipment is a mix.

Their standard service rifle, the Steyr AUG, comes from Austria. It's to be assumed that other equipment is made or partially made in Ireland, US, UK, Japan, China and others.

The only things Irish in the Irish Military are the soldiers, all their equipment comes from outside the Republic.

Camo uniforms are tailored at PORTWEST in County Mayo.

The Irish Republic is a Neutral State (not part of NATO) with no weapon making facilities.
